A rental agreement, a quote approval, a school permission form, a delivery note. On documents like these the other side expects to see a handwritten signature. The usual route is print, sign, scan and send back, and that route stops when there is no printer or no time.
This tool reaches the same result in three steps. You draw your signature in the box with a mouse, a touchscreen or a pen. On a phone a finger usually gives the most natural line. Then you drag the signature to the right spot on the page, set its size and download the file. The signature becomes part of the page, with no extra file and no separate layer.
The limit needs a clear statement: this is not a qualified electronic signature. It uses no certificate, it does not verify your identity and it adds no timestamp. Official applications need a certified signature from an approved provider. This tool suits documents where both sides accept a drawn signature.
To make later changes harder, "Protect PDF" can add an open password and a print restriction to the signed file.
Frequently asked questions
Do my file and my signature go to a server?
No. The drawing and the placement both run in your browser. Your signature is never stored and your file never leaves your computer.
Is this a legally qualified electronic signature?
No. This tool places a picture of your signature on the page. It uses no certificate. Official processes need a qualified electronic signature from an approved provider.
When is it enough?
It is common on rental agreements, quote approvals, permission forms and delivery notes, where both sides accept a drawn signature. It is not enough when an organization asks for a certified signature.
Can I sign several pages?
You can place the signature on each page one by one. There is no bulk option.
What is the size limit?
200 MB per file. Pro allows 2 GB.
Can I move the signature afterwards?
No. In the downloaded file the signature is part of the page. Start from your source file to change its place.
