Open Source Licenses
Filewand is built on open source libraries. Most tools run in your browser. These libraries run in your browser too.
We do not load any library from a CDN. Every file comes from https://devralpublic.nousworks.co. Your files do not go to a third server.
The table below lists the libraries we use. The link in the License column opens the license text. We keep each text on this site.

FFmpeg and the GPL
The video and audio tools use the WebAssembly build of FFmpeg. This build has a GPL 2.0 or later license.
We did not change the file. We took version 0.12.10 of the @ffmpeg/core package as it is. We put it in /vendor/ffmpeg/core/. The source code and the build scripts are in the ffmpegwasm/ffmpeg.wasm repository. You can read the license text here.
The GPL does not apply to our own code. The core is a separate file. It downloads separately and runs separately in the browser. If we change the core, we will release the change under the same license.
libheif and the LGPL
We use libheif to decode HEIC photos. It has an LGPL 3.0 license.
We did not change this file either. It comes from /vendor/heic/libheif-bundle.mjs as it is. To use your own build, replace that one file. The license texts are here for libheif-js and for libheif.
Version list
We keep the full file list and the file sizes in MANIFEST.json. When we update a library, we update this page.
